How to factory reset the Moto G2 Lollipop (Hard Reset)


Introduction :
This tutorial is to show to factory reset the Moto G2 Lollipop in boot menu itself. Using this method we can improve the Poor Performance of your Moto G2 and also in case of Forgot Password or Forgot Pattern Lock and you have no choice to unlock you phone. In this method data are erased so better remove your Sim card and external card for backup.

The steps are simple and easier to follow.
Step 1: Switch off your phone.
Step 2: Switch on your phone by holding Power Button and Volume Down Bottom at the same time.
(This will lead you to the Boot Mode Selection Menu)

Step 3: Select Recovery option by pressing Volume Down Button and Confirm the option by pressing Volume Up Button
(This will end up in No Command Page with the Android robot lying on its back with the exclamation mark )

Step 4:  Now Press the Power Button for a second and while pressing the button press Volume Up Button once and release it.
(Now Android System Recovery Page will be loaded with its options)

Step 5: Press down the Volume Down button to select wipe data/factory reset option and confirm it by pressing Power Button.
(It will navigate to Confirmation Page)


Step 6: Choose Yes -- delete all user data by pressing the Volume Down button and confirm it by pressing Power Button.
(Now wiping data process will begin. At the end of the process reboot system now option will be shown.)
Step 7: Confirm the action by pressing Power Button.
Step 8: After Wiping data select reboot now option by pressing Power Button.

That's all.. The system will reboot soon..

Note : Don't panic if the system take a long time. If it takes more than 2 minutes then Press the Power Button to reboot it as usual.
